Love for the sake of Allah

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

 

🌹One of the most blessed forms of love is love for the sake of Allah. This is when you love a righteous soul for their devotion to Allah. The love is because of Allah and one’s faith in Him.

 

💕We should all have people we love for the sake of Allah. Among the seven shaded on judgement day will be:

 

رَجُلاَنِ تَحَابَّا فِي اللَّهِ اجْتَمَعَا عَلَيْهِ وَتَفَرَّقَا عَلَيْهِ

Two men who love one another for Allah’s sake and they meet and part upon that. (Bukhari, 660)

 

🌸Narrated from Mu’adh bin Jabal that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took him by the hand and said: “O Mu’adh, by Allah indeed I love you. He said: I advise you, O Mu’adh, that you never leave saying in the dubur (end) of every prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

‘O Allah, help me to remember You, thank You and worship you well .’” (Abu Dawood: 1522, Sahih: Albani)

 

Shaykh Al Albani said:

 

⭐”If I really love you for the sake of Allaah I would persist in advising you, and you would do the same…the cost of loving someone for the sake of Allaah is that each person shows sincerity towards the other by advising him, always and forever telling him to do good and preventing him from bad—he is more constant in advising him than that person’s own shadow is close.”

 

💌 When I love someone for the sake of Allah I always pray for them.  Pray for their  Peace. pray for their growth.  Pray for their success. Pray for their happiness.

 

My messages come from the depths of my heart. You can think of these messages as my letters and expression of sincerity and genuine care for the loved ones

 

May Allah grant us His love and the love of those whom He loves and whom we love, and the love of deeds that will bring us closer to His love.

Allahumma Ameen

 

فَإِنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ إِلَيْكَ، أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَحَبَّكَ كَمَا أَحْبَبْتَهُ‏

(The angel said): I am a messenger of Allah to you that Allah loves you as you love him (your brother for His sake). (Adan Al Mudrad, 350, Sahih – Al Albani).
